A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH GREGORY PATTERSON C.C.O.I. GATE & FENCE COMPANY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A SECURITY GATE SYSTEM WHEREAS, City Hall basement parking located at 200 Lincoln Ave is in need of increased security system to include a security gate system; and WHEREAS, Facilities Maintenance requested quotes from three vendors to add security gates; and WHEREAS, staff reviewed all quotes in accordance with the City’s purchasing policies and requests approval to proceed with Gregory Patterson C.C.O.I. Gate & Fence Company as a vendor to upgrade the yard security gates; and WHEREAS, funds have been identified and are available in the American Recue Plan Act Adaptations to City Hall/City Facilities fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council approves an agreement with CCOI Gate & Fence Company to install a security gate system at 200 Lincoln Ave for $66,820 and an additional 20% ($13,364) contingency, for an amount not to exceed $80,184.; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement for services on behalf of the City.
