NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
June 18, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. • Salinas Rotunda, 200 Lincoln Avenue, Salinas, CA Notice is hereby given that the Salinas City Council will hold a public hearing on June 18, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. to consider a resolution approving the City's 2024 - 2025 Annual Rate Report for Wastewater Collection and directing collection of the charges detailed in the report on the Monterey County Tax Roll.
PROTEST OPTION: The owner of any parcel subject to the fees and charges detailed in the report may submit a written protest prior to the close of the public hearing. If a majority of property owners submit a written protest, the City will be prohibited from collecting the fees set forth on the Monterey County Tax Roll. A valid written protest must include your name, the parcel at which you receive wastewater collection service and a statement of protest. Protests can be submitted at the City Clerk's Office, 200 Lincoln Avenue, in person during the City Council meeting, or via mail:

AVISO DE AUDENCIA PUBLICA
18 de Junio de 2024 a las 4:00 p.m. • Salinas Rotunda, 200 Lincoln Avenue, Salinas, CA Por la presente se notifica que el Concejo de la Ciudad de Salinas realizará una audiencia pública el 18 de junio de 2024 a las 4:00 p.m. para considerar una resolución que apruebe el Informe Anual de Tarifas 2024 - 2025 de la Ciudad para la Recolección de Aguas Residuales y ordene el cobro de los cargos detallados en el informe en la Lista de Impuestos del Condado de Monterey.
OPCIÓN DE PROTESTA: El propietario de cualquier parcela sujeta a las tarifas y cargos detallados en el informe puede presentar una protesta por escrito antes del cierre de la audiencia pública. Si la mayoría de los propietarios presentan una protesta por escrito, se prohibirá a la Ciudad cobrar las tarifas establecidas en la lista de impuestos del Condado de Monterey. Una protesta válida por escrito debe incluir su nombre, la parcela en la que recibe el servicio de recogida de aguas residuales y una declaración de protesta. For service provided on and after July 1, 2024, you will no longer receive a bi-monthly bill from Monterey One Water for wastewater collection. The City of Salinas is proposing that fees for wastewater collection be collected on the property tax bill for each parcel.
A partir del 1 de julio de 2024, ya no recibirá una factura bimensual de Monterey One Water por la recolección de aguas residuales. La Ciudad de Salinas propone que las tarifas de recolección de aguas residuales se cobren en la factura del impuesto a la propiedad de cada parcela.
