RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
SHERWOOD TENNIS CENTER OPERATIONS AND MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT WHEREAS, the City of Salinas entered in to an Operations and Management Agreement with the Central Coast YMCA for the day-to-day operations of the Sherwood Tennis Center in December 2020; and WHEREAS, following a 90-day trial period, the City of Salinas entered in to a new Operations and Management Agreement with the Central Coast YMCA in March of 2021 followed by two subsequent one-month extensions dated June 1, 2021 and June 29, 2021; and WHEREAS, Only July 29, 2021 the City of Salinas and the Central Coast YMCA entered into Amendment # 1 which 1) increased the hours of operation at the Tennis Center; 2) eliminated the $2,500 monthly payment to the YMCA; and 3) established an Amendment term of August 5, 2021 through August 5, 2024; and WHEREAS, the City of Salinas and the Central Coast YMCA mutually wish to enter into a new Operations and Management Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council approves the Management and Operations Agreement for the Sherwood Tennis Center and authorizes the Mayor to enter into the Agreement on behalf of the City.
