RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SALINAS AND WALLACE GROUP.
WHEREAS, on December 13, 2022 the City of Salinas entered into a professional service agreement with Wallace Group via Resolution 22541 (N.C.S) to provide engineering design plans, specifications, and estimate for the Closter Park Green Streets project; and WHEREAS, on November 27, 2023, Amendment No. 1 was signed to extend the completion date to March 31, 2024; and WHEREAS, on May 25, 2023, Amendment No. 2 was signed to extend the to add additional scope of work for ROW research; and WHEREAS, on February 29, 2024, Amendment No. 3 was signed to extend the completion date to December 31, 2024; and WHEREAS, a lighting analysis of the proposed roundabout and redesign Beech and Dewey Street designs need to be completed; and WHEREAS, Amendment 4 will add additional scope of services of $65,860 and extend the Agreement term to May 31, 2025, to complete this analysis and redesign.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SALINAS, that Amendment No.4 to the Professional Services Agreement between the City of Salinas and Wallace Group to provide professional design engineering services related to the Closter Park Green Streets Project PS&Es in the amount of $65,860 and an extension in contract term to May 31, 2025, with a period of one (1) one-year annual renewal option, is hereby approved; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager of Salinas is hereby authorized to execute Amendment No. 4.
