RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENTS FOR ON-CALL STREETLIGHT REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE WITH BEAR ELECTRICAL SOLUTIONS, INC. AND ST. FRANCIS ELECTRIC, LLC.
WHEREAS, in October 2023, the City posted a request for qualifications for on-call streetlight maintenance services; and WHEREAS, on December 5, 2023, the City Council awarded the On-Call Streetlight Maintenance Agreements to Bear Electrical Solutions, Inc. and to St. Francis Electric, LLC for a not to exceed amount of $50,000 each; and WHEREAS, the City staff and Bear Electrical Solutions, Inc. desire to amend the agreement to increase the compensation by $50,000 for a total not to exceed amount of $100,000; and WHEREAS, the City staff and St. Francis Electric, LLC. desire to amend the agreement to increase the compensation by $50,000 for a total not to exceed amount of $100,000; and WHEREAS, the City staff request the City Council to authorize the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 1 with Bear Electrical Solutions, Inc. and St. Francis Electric, LLC.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council authorizes the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 1 to increase the compensation to the services agreement with Bear Electrical Solutions, Inc. by $50,000 for a total not to exceed amount of $100,000 for the contract; and BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council authorizes the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 1 to increase the compensation to the services agreement with St. Francis Electric, LLC. by $50,000 for a total not to exceed amount of $100,000 for the contract.
