RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION OF THE SALINAS CITY COUNCIL APPROVING
AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SALINAS AND GRIFFIN STRUCTURES WHEREAS, the Parks, Recreation and Libraries Master Plan identified Hebbron Family Center to have “no architectural value” and was the highest ranked priority due to its structural condition; and WHEREAS, the Hebbron Family Center Revitalization Project has received $8.1 million from the State of California; and WHEREAS, the City issued a Request for Qualifications for Project and Construction Management and Community Engagement assistance; and WHEREAS, through Resolution No. 22361 the City Council approved a professional services agreement with Griffin Structures; and WHEREAS, the approved professional service agreement did not include labor compliance as part of the original scope of services; however, labor compliance is an important component of the project which City staff recommend be managed by Griffin Structures; and WHEREAS, Griffin Structures has submitted a fee proposal for labor compliance in the amount to $40,374.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SALINAS approves Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement between the City of Salinas and Griffin Structures and authorizes the City Manager to execute the First Amendment.
