RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION APPROVING Contract Change Order No. 2 for the Boronda Road Congestion Relief Project Phase 1, CIP No. 9510 in the amount of $180,000; Approving the 12% project contingencies in the amount of $1,876,536; and authorizing the City Manager to approve all change orders for the project WHEREAS, the Boronda Road Congestion Relief Project, CIP No. 9510 is one of the identified priority projects in the current CIP; and WHEREAS, on June 18, 2024, the Boronda Road Congestion Relief Project Phase1; CIP No. 9510 was awarded to Granite Construction Company (Resolution No. 23008 and 23053); and WHEREAS, construction work started for the Phase 1 Project and Contract Change Orders (CCOs) are necessary to accommodate environmental permit requirements and any unforeseen issues that may be encountered during the course of the project construction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Contract Change Order No. 2 for the Boronda Road Congestion Relief Project Phase 1, CIP No. 9510 in the amount of $180,000 is hereby approved; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 12% project contingencies in the amount of $1,876,536 for a revised not to exceed total construction costs amount of $17,514,332.93 for this project is hereby approved; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to approve all change orders for this Phase 1 Project.
