RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO RENEW AN AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES WITH RARESTEP, INC. dba FLEETIO FOR FLEET MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE WHEREAS, the City requires a reliable fleet management software to automate essential operations in order to keep vehicles and equipment running efficiently and support data-base decisions; and WHEREAS, the City relies upon centralized management of the City’s diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment for more effective utilization of resources; and WHEREAS, Rarestep, Inc. dba Fleetio (“Fleetio”) will continue to provide technical and administrative support to accomplish successful implementation of the fleet software and ensure success throughout the duration of agreement; and WHEREAS, funding for FY24-25 exists in the Fleets Operating Budget 50.5233-63.4980 and additional funds for future years will be requested during operating budget request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council authorizes the City Manager to execute a software agreement with Rarestep, INC, dba Fleetio for the City’s fleet management software in an amount not to exceed $96,817 from January 15, 2025 to January 14, 2028, subject to the appropriation of funds.
