RESOLUTION NO. _______ (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FUNDS FROM THE CALRECYCLE RUBBERIZED PAVEMENT GRANT PROGRAM WHEREAS, on December 13, 2022, the City Council approved Resolution No. 22544 authorizing the submission of applications to CalRecycle for grants and payment programs; and WHEREAS, CalRecycle administers various grants and payment programs in their efforts to reduce, recycle, and reuse solid waste generated in the state; and WHEREAS, on September 12, 2024, City staff applied to CalRecycle’s Rubberized Pavement Grant Program; and WHEREAS, on December 11, 2024, CalRecycle approved funding for the City in the amount of $250,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF SALINAS that said funds from CalRecycle are accepted in the amount of $250,000; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the adoption of the following 2024-25 Appropriation and Funding Sources in the Capital Improvement Program:
Increase the estimated revenue from State Government appropriation by $250,000; and Increase funding for CIP 9981 Pavement Maintenance (CIP 5800.50.9981).
