RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE SALINAS STORMWATER MASTER PLAN UPDATE WHEREAS, the City of Salinas owns and operates a municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) for the residents and businesses within its service area and periodically conducts studies to plan for current and future stormwater infrastructure needs; and WHEREAS, on December 14, 2021, the City authorized an agreement with Wallace Group to perform the Stormwater Master Plan (SWMP) Update (Resolution No. 22269); and WHEREAS, the SWMP Update will serve to assist the City in prioritizing both existing and future stormwater system needs through repair, rehabilitation, replacement, or implementation of new facilities; and WHEREAS, the City of Salinas has determined the SWMP Update is not a project as defined by the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) (CEQA Guidelines Section 15378).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SALINAS, that the Salinas Stormwater Master Plan Update and related appendices attached hereto are hereby adopted.
