A RESOLUTION DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE SITE LEASE BETWEEN THE CITY OF SALINAS AND T-MOBILE WEST, LLC FOR ANTENNAS AT 30 MORTENSEN AVENUE, SALINAS MUNICIPAL AIPRORT WHEREAS, Lessor, City of Salinas, a California charter city and municipal corporation and Tenant entered into a COMMUNICATIONS SITE LEASE AGREEMENT, dated July 9, 1996 (the “Lease”) for leased premises (the “Premises”) located at 30 Mortensen Avenue, Salinas, California 93905, identified as APN 003-863-36 (the “Property”) at the Salinas Municipal Airport; and WHEREAS, Lessor and Tenant desire to enter into this First Amendment in order to modify and amend rent and costs, terms, and tenant’s notice address of the Lease; and WHEREAS, the Salinas Municipal Airport Enterprise fund will benefit from rental income for T-Mobile’s use of the property; and WHEREAS, at the May 22, 2025, Airport Commission meeting, the Airport Commission recommended City Council approve the First Amendment to Communications Site Lease Agreement between the City of Salinas and T-Mobile West, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, successor in interest of Pacific Bell Mobile Services, a California Corporation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF SALINAS, that the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City of Salinas to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Communications Site Lease Agreement by and between the City of Salinas, a municipal corporation, and T-Mobile West, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, successor in interest of Pacific Bell Mobile Services, a California Corporation located at 30 Mortensen Avenue, Salinas, CA (APN 003-863-36).
