RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENTS FOR
OCCUPATIONAL MEDICAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, The City of Salinas desires occupational medical services to provide workers’ compensation treatment, pre-employment physicals, drug and alcohol screening, DOT collection services, vaccinations, fitness-for-duty exams, and other employment-related medical services; and WHEREAS, the City issued a Request for Proposals for occupational medical services in early 2025 to ensure quality service and alignment with City needs and requirements; and WHEREAS, based on review and evaluation of the proposals received, Agile Occupational Medicine and ProActive Work Health Services were determined to be qualified and competent providers; and WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into a two-year agreement with each provider, from August 1, 2025 through June 30, 2027; and WHEREAS, the contracts will be funded through the City’s Internal Services Fund, with a not-to-exceed amount of $90,000 per provider over the contract term; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council hereby authorizes the two separate two-year agreements with Agile Occupational Medicine and ProActive Work Health Services for occupational medicine services; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the agreements between the City of Salinas and Agile Occupational Medicine and the City of Salinas and ProActive Work Health Services each in a total amount not to exceed $90,000.
