RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND PURCHASING AGENT TO INCREASE THE TOTAL COMPENSATION FOR MICROSOFT OFFICE 365 GOVERNMENT SOFTWARE LICENSING FROM DELL, LP, BY $50,000.00 FOR A TOTAL COMPENSATION NOT TO EXCEED $339,476.60 FOR THE PERIOD OF SEPTEMBER 1, 2025 THROUGH AUGUST 31, 2026.
WHEREAS, the City desires to purchase additional Microsoft Office 365 Government software licensing; and WHEREAS, Microsoft software products are an essential tool for realizing operational efficiencies and improving service delivery; and WHEREAS, on August 26, 2025, City Council approved a Resolution authorizing the City Manager and Purchasing Agent to renew the Microsoft 365 Government G3 licensing through Dell, LP, in an amount not to exceed $289,476.60; and WHEREAS, Dell, LP, will provide Microsoft Office 365 Government software licensing to the City of Salinas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council authorizes City Manager and Purchasing Agent to increase the total compensation for Microsoft Office 365 Government software licensing from Dell, LP, by $50,000.00 for a total compensation not to exceed $339,476.60 for the period of September 1, 2025 through August 31, 2026.
