SALINAS CITY COUNCIL FINANCE COMMITTEE
Tuesday, November 4, 2025
1:00 P.M.
COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Dennis Don ohue, Councilmember Margaret D’Arrigo and Councilmember Gloria De La Rosa.
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Rene Mendez, Finance Director Selina Andrews, Assistant Finance Director Abe Pedroza, Fire Chief Sam Klemek, Assistant Public Works Director/City Engineer Adriana Robles, Accounting Manager Hye -Weon Kim , Finance Management Analyst Yesenia Nunez, and Administrative Analyst Nick Luciano.
Mayor Dennis Donohue called the meeting to order at 1:01 p.m.
1. PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
2. MINUTES
The minutes of the October 14, 2025 meeting were unanimously approved by motion of Committee Member D’Arrigo, second by Committee Member De La Rosa.
3. DISCUSSION ITEMS
A. Sewer Improvements Update
Assistant Public Works Director/City Engine er Adriana Robles gave the presentation , providing an overview of the sanitary sewer system, a plan to move forward, and where we currently stand with respect to implementation of that plan. She also reviewed the required funding , which will require bonding, as the projected expenses far exceed the projected revenue.

Next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
