AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
BETWEEN CITY OF SALINAS AND KIMLEY HORN AND ASSOCIATES, INC.
This Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement (the “Amendment”) is entered into this 13th day of January 2026, by and between the City of Salinas (the “City”) and KIMLEY HORN AND ASSOCIATES, INC., (the “Contractor”),
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City and Contractor first entered into a Professional Services Agreement effective February 1, 2021, pursuant to which Contractor agreed to act as and provide certain services to the City for compensation (the “Agreement”); and WHEREAS, the City and Contractor desire to amend the Agreement increasing to increase the total amount of compensation to be paid under the Agreement and to extend the term of the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, in mutual consideration of the terms and conditions set forth below, the Parties agree to amend the Agreement as follows:
TERMS
Section 3 of the Agreement is amended to increase the total not-to-exceed amount of compensation to be paid under the Agreement from $400,000 to $750,000.
Section 2 of the Agreement is amended to extend the term of the Agreement through January 31, 2027.
All other covenants, terms, and conditions set forth in the Agreement and not amended by this Amendment shall remain in full force and effect as if fully set forth herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned, as authorized representatives of the City and Contractor have entered into this Agreement as of the date first written above.
