AGREEMENT —AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO
FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
BETWEEN CITY OF SALINAS AND MUNICIPAL RESOURCE GROUP, LLC
This Amendment No. [1] to the Agreement (the “Amendment”) is entered into this 10th day of March 2026, by and between the City of Salinas, a California charter city and municipal corporation (the “City”) and Municipal Resource Group, LLC, a California Limited Liability Company (the “Consultant”). City and Consultant may be individually referred to herein as a “Party” and collectively the City and Consultant may be referred to as the “Parties.”
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City and Consultant first entered into a Professional Services Agreement effective January 15, 2026, pursuant to which Consultant agreed to act as and provide certain services to the City for compensation (the “Agreement”); and
WHEREAS, the City and Consultant desire to amend the Agreement to allow for additional program participants and to provide for additional compensation.
NOW, THEREFORE, in mutual consideration of the terms and conditions set forth below, the Parties agree to amend the Agreement as follows:
TERMS
1. Section 1 of the Agreement is amended to add one additional Supervisor and Leadership Training cohort for 2026 to the scope of Consultant’s services described in Exhibit B of the Agreement.
2. Section 3 of the Agreement is amended to increase the total amount of compensation to be paid during Year 1 (January – December 2026) to one hundred thirty-four thousand eight hundred fifty dollars ($134,850) thereby increasing total amount of compensation to be paid under the Agreement to two hundred eighty-four thousand eight hundred fifty dollars ($284,850).
3. All other covenants, terms, and conditions set forth in the Agreement and not amended by this Amendment shall remain in full force and effect as if fully set forth herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned, as authorized representatives of the City and Consultant have entered into this Agreement as of the date first written above.
