RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF SOFTWARE SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES FROM PEREGRINE TECHNOLOGIES WHEREAS, City Council previously approved the purchase of software subscription services for up to three years and the current term ended April 14, 2026, and the Police Department desires to maintain access to the Peregrine platform; and WHEREAS, the current Agreement with Peregrine Technologies provides the option to purchase additional subscription terms at the same annual cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Salinas City Council authorizes the Purchasing Agent to complete the purchase of the remaining two optional software subscription renewal periods under the existing Agreement between the City of Salinas and Peregrine Technologies, for an additional amount of $300,000, resulting in a total Agreement cost not to exceed $750,000 as shown below:
