RESOLUTION NO. (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND PURCHASING AGENT TO COMPLETE THE PURCHASE OF SENTINELONE ENTERPRISE SOFTWARE FOR A THREE-YEAR TERM, PAID IN ANNUAL PAYMENTS, FROM CDW LLC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $280,407.98 FROM JUNE 1, 2026 TO MAY 31, 2029.
WHEREAS, the City desires to replace the current Arctic Wolf Managed Detection and Response software solution; and WHEREAS, the City will continue to renew the Arctic Wolf Managed Security Awareness Plus software for cybersecurity awareness training; and WHEREAS, the SentinelOne Enterprise software platform will provide advanced network and device monitoring to help ensure the security of software and infrastructure; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to Salinas Municipal Code section 12-27 the Salinas City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager and Purchasing Agent to complete the purchase of SentinelOne Enterprise Software for a three-year term, paid in annual payments, from CDW LLC., in an amount not to exceed $280,407.98 from June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2029.
