RESOLUTION NO. 21726 (N.C.S.)
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECT PURCHASE OF SPEED CUSHIONS
FROM TRAFFIC LOGIX
WHEREAS, Speed Cushion from Traffic Logix have been installed at various neighborhoods throughout the City of Salinas as part of the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council can approve th is purchase pursuant to Salinas Municipal Code Sections 12-25 (cooperative purchases) and 12-27 (purchases without notice, advertising or competitive b ids) in contracting for equipment, materials, supplies and services ; and without application of the local purchasing preference pursuant to Salinas Municipal Code Section 12 -
28.080.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Salinas City Council that the Purchasing Officer is hereby authorized to direct purchase Speed Cushion from Traffic Logix for a total amount of $ 84,701 as specified in the Staff Report and the attachments thereto which accompany this Resolution, using funds from CIP 9163.
