RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CLOSED CIRCUIT TELEVISION (CCTV) OF SANITARY SEWER PROJECT FOR MAINTENANCE AND RESPONSIBILITY WHEREAS, on September 14, 2021, the Salinas City Council approved allocation od American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds into four Government Services areas: Public Facilities, Public Infrastructure, Investments in Water and Sewer, and Homelessness; and WHEREAS, the CCTV of Sanitary Sewer Project qualified for funding under the “Investments in Water and Sewer” government service area; and WHEREAS, the City contracted Wallace Group using its Master Service Agreement for Professional Services for the preparation of specifications and bid documents; and WHEREAS, on November 7, 2023, four (4) bids were received through a competitive bidding process with National Plant Services, Inc. (NPS) being the lowest bidder; and WHEREAS, on December 5, 2023, the Salinas City Council awarded a contract NPS in the amount of $547,512.02 for the CCTV of Sanitary Sewer Project through Resolution No. 22861; and WHEREAS, the project began on May 28, 2024, with the contract having a total of 240 working days; and WHEREAS, one contract change order was issued granting an additional working day to the contract for a total of 241 working days; and WHEREAS, the project was deemed complete on June 16, 2025, within contract time and budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Salinas City Council accepts the CCTV for Sanitary Sewer Project for maintenance and responsibility.
