3 2.4
Adopt a Resolution Approving the 2023-2024 Budget Amendment and the 2024-2025 Proposed Budget. The Council’s discussion and acceptance of this item is not a “project” under the California Environmental Quality Act, because it does not involve an activity that has the potential to cause a direct or reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change in the environment. (Cal. Pub. Res. Code § 21065).

2.5 Consider Making and Ratifying Appointments to the General Plan Advisory Committee.

Appointment and ratification to serve on a committee is not a “project” under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) because it does not involve an activity that has the potential to cause a direct or reasonably foreseeable physical change in the environment. (Cal. Pub. Res. Code Section 21065).

2.6 Consider to Appoint a Town Councilmember to the San Anselmo Chamber of Commerce for the Remainder of 2024. Appointing a Councilmember to a new committee assignment is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), under the “common sense” exemption, because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the environment.
