• Reason for Request: The reason stated for the petition to vacate this portion of Harris Street is to complete a Lot Merger to accommodate the development of five individual parcels, making them contiguous.
Vacating this portion of the unused street will adjoin split parcels, thus maximizing future development.

• Proposed street vacation is consistent with general plan. • Planning Commission concludes proposed vacation is categorically exempt from CEQA and there is no significant impact on environment. • Utility Companies notified – SoCal Gas Company, Southern California Edison, and the San Bernardino Municipal Water Department easements will be preserved.
• Notice of this hearing was posted and published; and mailed to surrounding property owners within 1000 feet of the proposed vacation.
