Memorandum of Understanding
Best Friends Animal Society and San Bernardino City Animal Control This document is to clarify in writing the roles that the parties involved agree to upon receipt of this one-time financial scholarship.
Best Friends Animal Society will:
• Provide San Bernardino City Animal Control with a one-time scholarship of $5,000 following the return of this signed agreement by the recipient.
San Bernardino City Animal Control will:
• Have staff member attend the 2025 Best Friends National Conference in its entirety from February 20- 22°0, 2025.
Attend at least 75% or more of conference session offerings • Understand that if you or your representative(s) does not attend the conference, then you will be obligated to pay Best Friends Animal Society back for the full amount of the scholarship awarded. • Understand that this scholarship will be used specifically and only for:
Subsidize costs incurred due to attending the 2025 Best Friends National Conference. • Please submit confirmation of conference registration to Best Friends Animal Society via email with this signed document and your organization's W-9.
By signing below, each party acknowledges and agrees to the terms in this memorandum of understanding.
