PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Mayor Pro-Tem Juan Figueroa led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
PUBLIC COMMENTS FOR ITEMS LISTED ON THE AGENDA
Less expressed frustration over the ongoing search for a city manager, stating past candidates were unqualified or involved in misconduct. He u rged the M ayor and C ity Council to break the pattern of appointing problematic managers and to select a capable leader who could help the city move forward.
Mayor Tran noted for the record that the closed session item regarding the public employee appointment under the Government Code Section 54957 was specifically for a city manager interview, and that future special meetings would reflect this more clearly.
At 5:33 PM the Mayor and City Council convened into closed session.

Assistant City Attorney Albert Maldonado stated that there was no reportable action.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting of the Mayor and City Council was adjourned on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 8:52 PM.
The next joint Special meeting of the Mayor and City Council and the Mayor and City Council Acting as the Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at the Norman F. Feldheym Central Library located at 555 West 6th Street, San Bernardino, California 92410. Closed Session will begin at 5:30 PM.
