A PROCLAMATION OF
THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
PROCLAIMING NOVEMBER 29, 2025, AS
SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY
IN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
WHEREAS, small businesses are the backbone of San Bernardino’s economy, providing jobs, unique goods and services, and vital investments that strengthen our neighborhoods; and WHEREAS, locally owned enterprises help keep dollars in our community, support local nonprofits and schools, and reflect the creativity and diversity of San Bernardino; and WHEREAS, “Small Business Saturday,” observed annually on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, encourages residents to shop and dine locally during the holiday season and throughout the year; and
WHEREAS, the City of San Bernardino recognizes the importance of supporting small businesses to foster entrepreneurship, expand opportunity, and build a resilient local economy; and WHEREAS, residents, visitors, and businesses are encouraged to participate by shopping, dining, and doing business with San Bernardino’s small and independent establishments on this day and beyond;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT, the Mayor and the City Council of San Bernardino do hereby proclaim Saturday, November 29, 2025, as Small Business Saturday in the City of San Bernardino. We encourage all residents to visit local shops, dine at our neighborhood restaurants, and support the small businesses that make our city unique. Together, we can strengthen our local economy and foster a sense of community pride.
