Client has requested to add the electrical engineering consultant under our contract.
This additional scope was not anticipated in the original contract.
By signing below as indicated, Rick Engineering Company (“Consultant”) is authorized to expend an additional $44,000, bringing the total amount authorized as of this date to $244,000 to perform work in conjunction with our contract, dated September 4, 2025. The additional scope and fees are described below.
Additional Scope of Work:
1. Electrical Design Services –
RICK’s consultant, Z&K Consultants, Inc. will provide electrical design services for the SB Hope Navigation Center located at 796 E. 6th Street in San Bernardino. The following scope of work reflects the anticipated design tasks and coordination efforts required to support the project.
Services will include the following key tasks:
a. Electrical Design Plans
b. Site Visit and Data Collection
c. Load Calculations and Service Equipment Design
d. Power Distribution and Wiring Diagrams
e. Equipment and Installation Guidelines
f. Coordination with Southern California Edison (SCE) and Project Team

Fee includes a markup for RICK coordination with the subconsultant and the city. Scope does not include any other items that are not specifically mentioned hereon.
All other provisions of the original contract are to remain unchanged.
