The City plans to amend the Fiscal
Year 2025 -2026 Annual Action Plan
(AAP) to allocate additional
Community Developm ent B lock
Gran t and C ommunit y Developme nt
Bl ock Grant CAR ES Act (CDBG -
CV) fun ding to the H OPE C amp us
com m unity developm ent an d
hou sing project activ ity.
The C ity received Commun ity
Deve lopment Block Gr ant (CDBG)
funding and other federal resources
from the U .S. Department of
Housi ng and Ur ban Developme nt
(HUD). T he Annual Action Plan
(AAP) outline s the commun ity
dev elop ment an d housing initiatives
sup po rted by these funds for the
fiscal year 2025 -2026. In FY 2023 -
2024,the AAP allocated $1,901,365in
CDBG funds to the H OPE Camp us
for the establishm ent of a homele ss
navi gation center .For FY 2025 -2026,
the AAP has designated $1,074,214to
further suppor t the deve lopment of
the HOPE Campus.
The propos ed Subst antial
Amen dment seeks to revise the 2025 -
2026 AAP to increase fundin g for
HO PE Campus by $1,979,926.86. Th e
total project funding will cha nge
from $2,975,579 to $4,955,505.86.
The amounts of uns pent CD BG an d
CDBG -CV funds to be allocated are
as follows: 1) F Y 2020 -2021 CDBG -
CV ($1272,80 5.06) 2) FY 2021 -2022
($64,627.53); 3) FY 2022 -2023
($305,884.60 ); 4) FY 2023 -2024
($185,642.91 ); 5) 2024 -2025
($58,392.47), and 6 ) 2025 -2026
($92,574.29)totaling$1,9 79,926.86.
