Benefits of the
Exchange Program
02 Benefits: Student Delegates and Parkside
Parkside Student Delegates All Parkside Students and Staff Students become an Ambassador and represent
not only Parkside but San Bruno in Narita, Japan.
These Ambassadors take what they experienced
and apply it to their future daily lives.
Parkside is one of the few schools in the area that
offers a foreign exchange program. The success
of this program encourages more families to have
their child attend Parkside.
Students learn conversational Japanese and how
to respectfully communicate with others who do
not share the same language.
Parkside has the opportunity to experience
welcoming students and adults from another
country and showcasing the positives of Parkside
and San Bruno community.
Students experience the different customs and
traditions of their host family when staying in their
home.
Parkside and Narita educators exchange traditions
and customs of education and hopefully apply it to
their schools’ future academic school years.
