I would like to address your fee increase. This is too high for residence and non-residence to enjoy your facilities. The comparison to the gym you had was ridiculous. How can you compare a luxury gym to a community gym? The prices for luxury gyms are high because they offer more. The only thing you had more was the swimming pool compared to other gym.
Also, other gym do have classes included with the membership. You do not.
My suggestion, add the classes to the membership together with the membership. Most people come to the facility for either the fitness center or the swimming pool or the basketball courts.
Hardly for all.
If you compare it with planet fitness, 24hour fitness, Fitness 19, Crunch Fitness, and other gym nearby, that would be better. In your comparison, you had none for San Francisco, Daly City, South San Francisco, Millbrae, and Burlingame.
Hope you consider not to increase your membership as proposed. You will have more cancellation and less people coming. You will be losing revenue.
