The meeting was called to order at 5:30 pm.

4 STUDY SESSION
a. 2026 Ballot Measures: Revenue Measure Options, Height Ordinance (Ord. No. 1284), and Safe and Sane Fireworks Ban
Assistant to the City Manager Joseph Toney and lan Davis of HdL presented Revenue ballot measure options to the City Council and answered questions.
Community Development Director Peter Gilli answered questions.
Community Development Director Peter Gilli presented the Height Ordinance ballot measure to the City Council and answered questions.
Assistant to the City Manager Brian Adam presented the Safe and Sane Fireworks Ban ballot measure to the City Council and answered questions.

Bryan Godbe of Godbe Research answered questions.
City Council recessed the Special Meeting at 7:14 pm to continue with the study session item after the regular meeting.
City Council recessed at 9:14 pm and reconvened the study session item at 9:21 pm.
Heiqht Ordinance Ballot Measure:
M/S Hamilton/Alvarez move forward with option A as recommended by staff. Motion passed unanimously.
City Manager Alex Mclntyre provided comment(s).
Revenue Measure Options:
M/S Salazar/M, Medina to move forward with Model 2 business license tax revision.
Motion passed unanimously.
Safe and Sane Fireworks Ban:
M/S Alvarez/Hamilton to move forward with the fireworks ballot measure. Motion passed unanimously.
5. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 9:51 pm to the next Regular City Council Meeting on July 28, 2026 at 7:00 pm.
