4. Please explain why xou would like to serve on the Golf Course Committee.
I have serifed on ttre committee for several years, 3 as dlairman. l grew up on our municipal course and have been playing It since 1956. I believe I have the knowledge and background to continue serving on the committee.
I was a former secretary of the men's gtolf club in the 80's, so I have the experience in serving on the golf course's issues.
5. Please explain how your background and experience would contribute to the Golf Course Committee.
I am a former PGA Club Professional, Class A and a former member of the PGA Tour Player's Division.
I have been associated with several golf club manufacturers and know that side of the business as well.
6. What is your educational background?

7. Please explain any experience that you have in community, governmental, charitable or educational affairs.
Member of SCMGC since 1959, serving as secretary in the 1980's. Member of the Historical Society, Government Affairs Committee, Board of Directors for the SC Chamber, Board of Directors for Pier Pride, Volunteer for Casa Romantica, Master Don for Don's Club in SC, City of San Clemente Patriarch.
8. The Golf Course Committee meets the first Thursday in January, April, July and October at 6:00 p.m. Please explain any challenges, if any, you may have in meeting this commitment.
9. No challeges - missed one meeting to attend my granddaughter's graduation from Boise State last year since being appointed.
Please describe your views on opportunities, if any, to improve the San Clemente Municipal Golf Course.
I've seen marked improvement through the years; but would like to see more trees being replaced for the fallen trees we've lost. I would like to see more service clubs using the dining facilities for their monthly meetings and hopefully bring more business to Wedgewood.

I've been playing the course for over 65 years and continue to see vast improvements to the point you never get tired of playing it.
