OC believe it is important to be civically engaged in your conm1unity. I enjoy being engaged, involved, and to give back.
OC wish to continue grow in city engagement following completing the city's 2023 Leadership program. I believe by profesional work background in environmental engineering/construction and people management skills would omplement the needs of this commission.
Please explain how your background and experience would contri bute to the Planning Commission. [ believe by profesional work background in environmental engineering/construction and people management skills would complement the needs of this commission. I have a problem solving, "can do" attitude.
My background as geologist, engineering, urban planning, permitting, construction, and CEQA planning gives me a ~olid foundation in understanding the key issues that the commission will need to address.

My vision for San Clemente's future includes:
I) A clear, long term plan for measured growth that maintains the city heritage and beach/smf culture. 12) A plan and vision for the futme that is effectively communicated to city residents and exisitng/future business pwner/operators.

Do you have any experience with historic preservation or architectural history? If so, please explain:
Jes - As an environmental professional at firms such as AECOM, WSP, URS, and Kleinfelder, 1 am familar with the :::EQA requirements associated with preservation of historic structures and evaluating architectual history. 1 am also amilar with CEQA mitigation requirements to address impacts from development projects.
