3. What is your occupation? Business Development for medical/social services provider
4. Please explain why you would like to serve on the Human Affairs Committee.
I would like to serve on the Human Affairs Committee to contribute my leadership skills and experience to help improve the quality of life of San Clemente residents. My top priorities are connecting San Clemente residents to social services and support policies that reduce homelessness.
5. Please explain how your background and experience would contribute to the Human Affairs Committee.
I am founder of ETN Medical Infusion, a medical and social services provider in Orange County. I have ' experience implementing programs which include MediCal and Calfresh redetermination and enrollment, food distribution, street medicine for homeless, and equity. I also have extensive experience partnering with more than 100 community based organizations who provide homeless, housing, veteran, senior, and mental health services.
6. Please explain any expertise that you may have in the area of homelessness.
As a County and State Equity grant awardee, my business has extensive experience serving the medical and social needs of the homeless population, understanding their needs, and leveraging community based organizations, local and state .resources to help get the homeless population off the streets.

8. Please explain any experience that you have in community, governmental, charitable or educational affairs.
I am founder of Together As One, a non-profit organization based in San Clemente serving children affected by autism. One of our programs includes work and life skills programs for young adults so they can get and maintain employment. I am also two time San Clemente City Council candidate and regularly attend city council meetings. I also support many San Clemente organizations including Pier Pride, San Clemente Historical Society, and Casa Romantica.
9. The Human Affairs Committee meets on a regular basis on the second Tuesday of every other even month at 3:00 p.m. Please explain any challenges, if any, you may have in meeting this commitment.
I will commit to all obligations required to fill this seat.
10. Considering the City's limited financial resources, please describe your views on how the City can address human needs in the community.
I will use my experience to partner with more community based organizations who already have their own funding to serve the community; apply for and secure local, state and federal grants; and work with elected officials and county agencies to deliver these services fast and effectively to those most in need.
11. Please describe your understanding of the principal roles and responsibilities of the Human Affairs Committee.
To act in an advisory capacity to the City Council in all matters pertaining to human needs, including homelessness, within the City.
