A Special Meeting of the San Clemente City Council was called to order by Mayor Duncan on June 6, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in the San Clemente City Council Chambers, located at 910 Calle Negocio, 2nd Floor, San Clemente.

INTERVIEWS/APPOINTMENTS
A. HUMAN AFFAIRS COMMITTEE
Council interviewed the following applicants:
Cordell Bauer
Tyler Boden
Lisa Edone
Shane Hirschman
Dick Veale
Thor Johnson withdrew his application for the Human Affairs Committee.
Councilmembers cast written ballots to fill three 2-year term vacancies and one 1-year term vacancy.on the Human Affairs Committee, which were announced verbally by City Clerk Campagnolo as follows:
CABRAL: Bauer, Boden, Edone, Hirschman
ENMEIER: Boden, Edone, Hirschman, Veale

Motion by Councilmember Cabral, second by Councilmember Loeffler, CARRIED 5-0, to appoint Cordell Bauer, Tyler Boden and Lisa Edone to the Human Affairs Committee for terms set to expire June 30, 2025.
AYE: Cabral, Enmeier, Knoblock, Loeffler and Mayor Duncan NOE: None
Council cast written ballots for the one-year term set to expire June 30, 2024.

Motion by Mayor Pro Tem Knoblock, second by Councilmember Enmeier, CARRIED 5-0, to appoint Dick Veale to a one-year term to expire on June 30, 2024.

B. INVESTMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Motion by Mayor Pro Tem Knoblock, second by Councilmember Loeffler, CARRIED 5-0, to appoint Art Carter to a two-year term set to expire June 30, 2025 and Amanda Conley to a one-year term set to expire June 30, 2024.

Motion by Councilmember Loeffler, second by Mayor Pro Tem Knoblock, CARRIED 5-0, to appoint Nick Berkuta and Mark Rhoden to the Public Safety Committee for terms set to expire June 30, 2025.

Motion by Mayor Pro Tem Knoblock, second by Councilmember Loeffler, CARRIED 5-0, to adjourn at 3:53 p.m. The next Regular Meeting will be held on June 6, 2023. Closed Session will begin at 5:00 p.m. The Business Meeting will commence at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at City Hall Council Chambers, located at 910 Calle Negocio, 2nd Floor, San Clemente.
