RESOLUTION NO. 23-52
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A MAINTENANCE SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH ED STEWART AND ASSOCIATES TO PROVIDE LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE AT THE WATER RECLAMATION PLANT AND NINE RESERVOIR LOCATIONS.
WHEREAS, the City wishes to provide landscape maintenance at City owned properties; and WHEREAS, the City’s current agreement with Greentech Landscape sunsets June 30, 2023; and WHEREAS, staff advertised a Request for Proposal on the electronic bidding program, Planet Bids, which closed on April 20, 2023; and WHEREAS, four proposals were received in response to the RFP in April 2023 and the most qualified proposer is Ed Stewart and Associates, Inc. with an annual cost of $34,800 for a three-year total of $104,400; and WHEREAS, City staff recommends that City Council approve a three-year maintenance services agreement with the option of two one-year extensions with Ed Stewart and Associates, Inc. to provide landscape maintenance at City owned properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Approve this Resolution of a maintenance services agreement with Ed Stewart and Associates, Inc.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
