CALL TO ORDER
Chair McKhann called the Study Session of the Planning Commission of the City of San Clemente to order at 5:05 p.m. The meeting was offered in person at The City of San Clemente City Hall Council Chambers, 910 Calle Negocio, San Clemente, California, and also via live stream from the City’s YouTube Channel or live on Cox Channel 854.

A. California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)
A Presentation on CEQA by Burke, Williams & Sorenson, LLP.
Gena Burns, Deputy City Attorney, narrated a PowerPoint Presentation entitled, “CEQA for Planning Commissioners”, dated August 2, 2023. The Presentation is on file in the Planning Division. Deputy City Attorney Burns summarized pertinent sections of the regulations, including an overview of the basics, procedures, mitigation measures, and recent procedural changes in response to direction from State lawmakers. She encouraged those with comments or questions to contact her.

Chair McKhann adjourned the Study Session at 6:05 p.m. until its next session of August 16, 2023.
