ORDINANCE NO. 1757
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE AND THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION OF THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC EMPLOYEES’ RETIREMENT SYSTEM THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That an amendment to the contract between the City Council of the City of San Clemente and the Board of Administration, California Public Employees’ Retirement System is hereby authorized, a copy of said amendment being attached hereto, marked Exhibit A, and by such reference made a part hereof as though herein set out in full.
Section 2. The City Manager of the City of San Clemente is hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to execute said amendment for an on behalf of the City of San Clemente.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and at least five days prior to the date of adoption of this ordinance, a summary of this ordinance shall be published in the San Clemente Times, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of San Clemente. In addition, prior to the expiration of 15 days following the date of adoption, a second summary of this ordinance, including the votes taken thereon, shall be published in the San Clemente Times. This ordinance shall take effect 30 days after the date of its adoption and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
