A. Discussion on feasibility of an amphitheater
• Committee member Eggleston, we should relay to council, amphitheater is far in the future.
Committee member Lantz, in lieu of an amphitheater, we should open a performing arts center.
Committee member Quintanilla, we would need between 150 - 400 seats. • Committee member Roth suggested the Outlets at San Clemente for amphitheater.
Director, Wylie spoke about the Community Center. The Auditorium currently seats 300. Auditorium would need a facelift and tech support.
There would be a significant impact on recreation programs and rentals. • Committee member Lantz to set up a meeting with the Outlets at San Clemente to discuss costs for leasing space.
• Committee member Quintanilla spoke with City Manager, Andy Hall regarding empty City buildings. Mr. Hall will be comprising a list to provide to committee.
