RESOLUTION NO. 24-14
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING AND FILING NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR THE WATER RECLAMATION PLANT SLUICE GATES REPLACEMENT (PHASE 2), CIP PROJECT NO. 26212 WHEREAS, the Water Reclamation Plant had multiple sluice gates that had reached the end of their useful life due to corrosion and were in need of replacement; and WHEREAS, this project replaced two sluice gates, some mechanical and electrical components and a grating cover; and WHEREAS, the work has been completed to the satisfaction of the Public Works Director/City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Clemente does hereby find, determine and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and incorporated herein.
SECTION 2. That the Water Reclamation Plant Sluice Gates Replacement (Phase 2) CIP Project No. 26212, is hereby accepted from Jennette Company, Inc.
SECTION 3. That the Public Works Director/City Engineer is authorized and directed to execute and record the Notice of Completion for the completed Water Reclamation Plant Sluice Gates Replacement (Phase 2).
SECTION 4. That the City Clerk is authorized and directed to release the payment bond 35 days from the recordation of the Notice of Completion upon verification with the Engineering Division that no liens have been levied against the Contractor, Jennette Company, Inc.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
