We the residents of the 100 block of Avenida Barcelona are respectfully requesting that "Speed Bumps" be installed as they were on Avenida Valencia and Paseo de Cristobal to slow down speeding cars that have become out of control before something tragic occurs.
Additionally we are requesting that the "Vertical Delineators" be removed from El Camino Real. Since the installation of these barriers the traffic on our street has increased to unacceptable levels, creating very dangerous situations to the people who live here. (excessive speeding, noise, and pollution).
Although we understand that your intentions were good, the wrong choice was made. The respondents to your public input survey were unanimously in favor of alternative no.1 69% to 23%. However the choice was made for alternative no. 2 against the wishes of the people who live here.
Again we respectfully submit this petition for your consideration. 100 block residents of Avenida Barcelona.
