CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Chair Fowler called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City of San Clemente Arts Red at San Cemente it Hal, Fist Flor 5.2212 2m located at 910 als Negocio, San Clemente, California.

Members Present: Nicholas Crays, Chair Sherman Fowler, Amanda Greco, Jacqui Groseth, Vice Chair Shane Hirschman, Kathi Koehler, and Joshua Paskowitz
Staff Present: Beaches, Parks and Recreation Director Samantha Wylie
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge was led by Vice Chair Hirschman.
1. OLD BUSINESS
A. Development of Arts and Culture Committee Work Plan for FY 2024-2025 Director Wylie presented the staff report, including the Committee's purview and proposed work plan items.
In response to Committee questions, Director Wylie explained appropriate work plan items; the amphitheater subcommittee; and process for determining the Work Plan.
Amanda Quintanilla discussed the recommendations from the Citizens Amphitheater Committee for indoor dressing rooms and restrooms and electrical issues; and Camino Real Playhouse to provide a proposal. She discussed the need to consider the economic feasibility and creation of a foundation.
The Committee discussed potential work plan items.
MEMBER GROSETH MOVED AND MEMBER GRECO SECONDED A MOTION TO APPROVE THE FOLLOWING WORK PLAN ITEMS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 TO BE APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL:

1. Subcommittee on an amphitheater and performing arts facilities
2. Visual Art in Public Places Policy
3. Subcommittee on Public Art exhibits and displays
4. Subcommittee on concert and live music events
5. Utility box art program
6. Define the vision and mission for the Committee, including public input.
THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
2. NEW BUSINESS
A. Establishment of a Summer Concert Subcommittee
Staff recommends the Arts and Culture Committee establish an ad-hoc subcommittee to collaborate with Recreation Division staff on the entertainment line-up for the 2024 Summer Concert Series.
Director Wylie presented the staff report.
CHAIR FOWLER MOVED AND MEMBER GRECO SECONDED A MOTION TO
ESTABLISH AN AD-HOC SUBCOMMITTEE OF MEMBERS CRAYS, HIRSCHMAN,
AND PASKOWITZ TO COLLABORATE WITH RECREATION DIVISION STAFF ON THE ENTERTAINMENT LINE-UP FOR THE 2024 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES.
THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
3. ADJOURNMENT
MEMBER FOWLER MOVED AND MEMBER KOEHLER SECONDED A MOTION TO ADJOURN THE MEETING AT 3:21 P.M. TO THE REGULAR ARTS AND CULTURE COMMITTEE MEETING TO BE HELD ON MARCH 25, 2024, AT 5:00 P.M. AT SAN
CLEMENTE CITY HALL, SECOND FLOOR COUNCIL CHAMBERS, LOCATED AT 910 CALLE NEGOCIO, SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA. THE MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
