RESOLUTION NO. 24-51
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 COASTAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE WORK PLAN WHEREAS, the Coastal Advisory Committee was established to act in an advisory capacity to the City Council in planning pertaining to coastal issues identified by the City Council; and WHEREAS, the San Clemente Municipal Code § 2.29.020(e) requires that the Coastal Advisory Committee develop an annual work plan with specific goals and objectives for the coming year and submit it to the City Council for approval each year; and WHEREAS, at its February 20, 2024 meeting, the City Council provided direction on the Coastal Advisory Committee FY 2023-24 Work Plan; and WHEREAS, on March 21, 2024, the Coastal Advisory Committee reviewed and recommended approval of three items to be included in its FY 2023-24 Work Plan and those items were presented to the City Council on April 16, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Clemente does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Coastal Advisory Committee FY 2023-24 Work Plan shall consist of the items as presented to the City Council in the April 14, 2024 agenda materials.
Section 3. That in addition to the items listed on the FY 2023-24 Work Plan, the Committee may review all additional items directed for further consideration of the Committee by vote of the City Council.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
