Project Name: Sand AcquisitionPurpose, Goals and Deliverables of Project:
Advise the City Council on getting sand for San Clemente beaches with a focus on the Sand Compatibility and Opportunistic Use Permit (SCOUP). Identify and present additional and/or alternative beach sand acquisition sources for City Council consideration.Items may include identifying and compiling a list of the most viable sources of sand (considering sediment characteristics, locations, transportation, permitting, and costs) that would be available upon the City obtaining a SCOUP permit, to be referenced in future opportunistic sand efforts. Deliverable of the project to be the compilation of all recommendations relevant to this project to be forwarded for the consideration of the City Council.

Deliverable of the project to be the compilation of recommendations relevant to this project to be forwarded for the consideration of the City Council.

Advise the City Council on ways to improve water quality, specifically at Poche Beach.
