CALL TO ORDER
Chair Cosgrove called the Study Session of the Planning Commission of the City of San Clemente to order at 5:14 p.m. The meeting was offered in person at The City of San Clemente City Hall Council Chambers, 910 Calle Negocio, San Clemente, California, and also via live stream from the City’s YouTube Channel.

ITEM:
A. Housing Element Implementation Program – Objective Design Standards Jonathan Lightfoot, City Planner, narrated a PowerPoint Presentation entitled, “Housing Element Implementation Program, Planning Commission Study Session,” dated March 6, 2024. A copy of the Presentation is on file in Planning Division. He reviewed the proposed Housing Overlay; outlined the purpose and goals of the Housing Action Plan, including its Objective Design Standards; provided next steps in the process.
Comments/Suggestions:
• Requested information about the survey that was conducted early in the process of establishing objective design standards. Staff indicated that the survey was posted on the City’s website and highlighted in the SC Times.
Staff indicated that they would verify the number of participants and provide that information to the Commission.
