The coastal bluff movement beginning In fall 2021 Impacted City owned sewer lift station and storm drain system. The city will restore lhe damaged pipelines and Sewer Lift Station lo their original conditions. Project site is localed in City of San Clemente within the Cyprus Shore HOA, in the 'lidnity of Avenida De Las Paimera and Calle Ariana intersection.

Description of Nature, Purpose and Beneficiaries of Project:
The existing sewer lift station and storm drain system have been compromised due to the coastal bluff movement at Cyprus Shore and need to be repaired to continue providing services. Work generally includes replacement of 216 llnear feet of 42-inch in kind, and 168 linear feet of new 24-inch storm drain pipe for laterals; construction of 6 new catch basins to reduce the ex isling surface ftows reaching !he impacted slope failure; construction of 1,100 linear feet of PVC sewer force main in-kind within Calle Ariana; replacing some existing sewer lift station components; construction of nine 30-inch diameter concrete caissons (40 feet long) for local stability. Work also includes limited grading, and construction of curb and gutter and asphalt paving. This work does not propose a land use change.
