RESOLUTION NO. 24-99
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH MILLIMAN, INC. TO PROVIDE DEFINED BENEFIT ADMINISTRATION WHEREAS, on October 1, 2017, the City of San Clemente (“City”) and Milliman, Inc. entered into a Professional Services Agreement (“Agreement”) for Defined Benefit Administration; and WHEREAS, the Professional Services Agreement for Defined Benefits Administration will expire on September 30, 2024; and WHEREAS, the City wishes to continue Professional Services for Defined Benefit Administration with Milliman, Inc.; and WHEREAS, the services being provided by Milliman under the Agreement are professional services, the price is fair and reasonable and Milliman is uniquely qualified to perform the services during the upcoming transition period.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Clemente does hereby find, determine and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and incorporated herein.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to execute the Third Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement for Defined Benefits Administration with Milliman Inc. extending the term of the Agreement through September 30, 2025 for an amount not to exceed $35,200 in a form substantially similar as that presented to the City Council on June 18, 2024.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
