RESOLUTION NO. 25-08
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA, AWARDING A PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT TO PDM CONSULTING, INC. TO PROVIDE CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION SERVICES FOR THE PICO/PRESIDIO DIP REPLACEMENT, CIP PROJECT NO. 13411, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $109,620, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT WHEREAS, on November 15, 2024, the Engineering Division solicited proposals from five qualified firms to provide engineering inspection services for the Pico / Presidio DIP Replacement, CIP Project No. 13411; and WHEREAS, on December 9, 2024, the City of San Clemente received three (3) proposals from qualified firms PdM Consulting, Inc., Dudek and Lee +Ro; and WHEREAS, City staff reviewed the submitted proposals and determined PdM Consulting, Inc. provided the best approach and team for the Pico / Presidio DIP Replacement Project and its fee is fair and reasonable.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Clemente does hereby find, determine and resolve as follows:
Section 1. Recitals. The above recitals are considered findings by the City Council and incorporated into the body of this resolution.
Section 2. A Professional Consulting Services Agreement is hereby awarded to PdM Consulting, Inc. for engineering inspection services for the Pico / Presidio DIP Replacement Project, CIP Project No. 13411.
Section 3. The City Manager is authorized and directed to execute said Agreement in an amount not to exceed $109,620 in a form substantially similar to that presented to the City Council on January 14, 2025.
Section 4. City staff is authorized and directed to execute such other documents and take such other and further actions as are necessary and proper to accomplish the purposes of this resolution.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
