Identify one or more new sand sources closer to San Clemente & begin permitting it for use Obtain remaining City SCOUP permits (CSLC, RWQCB and USACE) Develop another SCOUP project (subject to budget funding availability)? Work with UCI team to conduct sand studies for City in 2025 Find funding to continue the shoreline monitoring program past the end of 2025 when CCC Grant funding ends Finalize sand retention project concepts and complete grant deliverables Obtain funding for the next phase of sand retention project concepts and complete Grant deliverables Find funding to support City cost share for SANDAG RBSP III Phase 2 Continue working with OCTA to advance their sand placement projects as soon as possible Conduct a fiscal impact analysis and beach attendance study for San Clemente Continue regional collaborations with South OC agencies including OC Parks, Dana Point, State Parks, and OCTA Apply for at least six State & Federal grants to fund various Coastal projects, including those listed above from the funding sources below:
