RESOLUTION NO. 25-57
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH LANCE, SOLL & LUNGHARD, LLP TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL AUDIT SERVICES FOR TWO ADDITIONAL YEARS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $134,750 WHEREAS, on June 19, 2018, the City of San Clemente (“City”) and Lance, Soll & Lunghard, LLP entered into a Professional Services Agreement (“Agreement”) for Audit Services; and WHEREAS, on April 16, 2024, the City of San Clemente (“City”) and Lance, Soll & Lunghard, LLP entered into a First Amendment to the Agreement for Audit Services; and WHEREAS, the Professional Services Agreement for Audit Services with Lance, Soll & Lunghard, LLP will expire on June 30, 2025; and WHEREAS, the City wishes to continue Professional Audit Services with Lance, Soll & Lunghard, LLP for two additional years, which is in the best interest of the City and the public.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Clemente does hereby find, determine and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the above recitations are true and correct and incorporated fully herein.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to execute a Second Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement for Auditing Services with Lance, Soll & Lunghard, LLP extending the term of the agreement through June 30, 2027 for a total cumulative amount during the extended term not to exceed $134,750 and in a form substantially similar to that presented to the City Council on May 6, 2025.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
