RESOLUTION NO. 25-65
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE COMPLETION OF THE RICHARD T. STEED MEMORIAL PARK PUMP TRACK PROJECT BY AMERICAN RAMP COMPANY AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO FILE A NOTICE OF COMPLETION WITH THE ORANGE COUNTY RECORDER'S OFFICE WHEREAS, on December 10, 2024, the City Council of the City of San Clemente awarded a construction contract to American Ramp Company in the amount of $605,000 for the design and construction of the Richard T. Steed Memorial Park Pump Track; and WHEREAS, construction of the project commenced in February 2025 and was substantially completed in March 2025, with final inspections and punch-list items completed on April 2, 2025; and WHEREAS, the completed project provides a professionally designed asphalt pump track facility that supports community health, youth engagement, and action sports recreation in San Clemente; and WHEREAS, City staff has inspected the work and determined that it has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications, and recommends acceptance of the project as complete.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Clemente does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The work performed by American Ramp Company for the Richard T. Steed Memorial Park Pump Track Project (CIP Project No. 15109) is hereby accepted as complete.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to execute and file a Notice of Completion for said project with the Orange County Recorder's Office.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk is authorized to release all retained funds in accordance with the contract and applicable laws following the 35-day lien period.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions.
